Church Planting in San Mihaiu Almasului
We began the work in San Mihaiu Almasului, May 2009 in the home of one of the villagers. We are currently meeting in a very small rented house and have 20 to 25 adults that come and 8 to 12 young girls that Helen teaches a separate class. There have been 10 adults saved, 4 have been baptized and we are praying that the others will soon follow the Lord in baptism.
We have recently found a piece of property (appox.1/2 acre) with an old house. We want to remodel it for temporary use; and then come spring we would like to start building a small church building. This week I started the paper work on the purchase of it. The cost of the property is $23,00.00 with close out cost and taxes. We presently have $11,000.00 which will be an advance, leaving $12,000.00 to be paid in 6 months. I spoke with my Pastor and he agreed that we should go forward. Please pray with us for this need. If anyone would like to send a donation for this cause, please send it to our mission board and specify it for the "Lawrence Building Project."
