Our Statement of Faith

  1. 1. I do believe in the verbal, Divine inspiration of Holy Scripture, consisting of 39 Old Testament and 27 New Testament books, in the 1611 King James Version of the Bible for the English speaking people. God has preserved His Word inerrant and infallible for us today and it is the final authority on all issues of my faith and practices.

  2. 2.  I do believe in the Holy Triune God: Father, Son and Holy Spirit, and that He is the absolute Sovereign Creator, Sustainer and Ruler of the Universe.

  3. 3.  I do believe that Jesus is eternal, coexistent, co creator with the Father, John 10:30.        Also that Jesus Christ was and is fully man with sinless humanity and born of the Virgin Mary. Heb.2:9-18, 1:3-6, Luke 1:26-35, Matt.1:18-23

  4. 4.  I believe in the total depravity of all men and because of the fall in the garden, men have lost the real likeness and image of God with which the first Adam was created. We are all dead in trespasses and sins and must have a new birth or we are separated eternally from God. John 3:3-7, 1 Peter 1:1:23, Eph.2:1-10.

  5. 5.  I believe that Jesus Christ through his death and shed blood became my substitute (took my place and condemnation) and is my representative in Heaven before the Father. This substitutionary death applies for all who will receive Christ Jesus. 1 John 2:1-2, Rev. 1:5, John 1:10, 2 Corn. 5:17-21. I believe that God gives sorrow and repentance to all who receive Him and justifies them freely from all things.

  6. 6.  I believe in the literal resurrection of the body of our Lord and that He ascended into Heaven and is now seated at the Father’s right hand making intercession for all true saints. John 20:19-31, vs.27, 21:9-14, Luke 24:29-43, vs. 39, 43.

  7. 7.  I believe and long for the soon coming of Jesus Christ in the clouds of Heaven to catch away the church (His Bride). This event will take place before the tribulation and Millennial Kingdom of Christ on earth. 1 Thess. 4:13-18, 1 Corn. 15:50-54.

  8. 8.  In order to be a child of God we must receive a new, spiritual birth while alive on earth. No second chance after death. 1 John 3:1-3, Titus 3:3-7. This being born into God’s family is totally the work of God by washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit. 1 Peter 1:23, the divine seed (Word of God); James 1:18, begotten by the Word of Truth.

  9. 9.  The Just (saved) will be resurrected with an eternally incorruptible body that will know no sorrow, pain or death. But all the unsaved will be resurrected with body to know, feel and realize eternal torments in hell and eventually the Lake of Fire. Luke 16, Rev. 21, 20:10-15, 14:9-11.

  10. 10.  All true born again believers make up the invisible body of Christ which is the Church. I believe that the visible local church consist of born again baptized believers (in designated areas) and is the second institution that Christ established in this earth. Eph. 1:22-23. Christ is the head of the church. Eph. 4:15-16, 4:23-33, a great mystery.

  11. 11.  I believe that only born again people should be baptized by complete immersion under water. This typifies the acceptance of our identification with the death, burial and resurrection or our Lord and shows outwardly what we have received inwardly by faith in Christ. Since water baptism and the Lord’s Supper have been given as ordinances for the church of Jesus to keep, we should carry them out in Biblical church order. 1 Corn. 11, Rom. 6, Col. 2:12, Acts 10:47, 2:36-38, 16: 28-38.
